Bondi Boomerang Booths
Picture
Bondi an Australian theme restaurant was an incredible job that we did for CKD2 Restaurant Builders.  Unfortunately "Bondi" is not open anymore.  However, one of the main features of the restaurant was the 2 Boab Tree booths.  Made from hundreds of stainless steel abstract boomerangs.  The structures provided seating for parties of 6 to 8 people inside the trees.

Sunset Station, Las Vegas
Picture
Sunset Station Casino Las Vegas. This was our second Vegas job that also had a very tight deadline. A chocolate brown clear coat over a natural steel finish. The gold is all gold leaf. We also made the sconces on the pillars, and the hanging lamps with the hand blown glass pendants.

Ruth's Chris, San Diego
Picture
This is the San Diego "Ruth's Chris" restaurant. The corporate designer's in New York had seen a wave style rail that I had done for a local resident, and gave me a lot of freedom to come up with this stair railing design.
Frida Restaurant/Glendale
Picture
Frida in Glendale is another “CKD2” Restaurant Builders" project. A huge colorful mural on a curved slanted wall, glass tiles on the bar, a black reflective ceiling, and the backlit diagonal boxes are all visible from the street. Add the exceptionally good food, in a area close to Hollywood, and you're at the place to be.

Orleans Casino, Las Vegas
Picture
This is the Orleans Casino in Las Vegas. It was a huge job for us at the time. Just to give you an idea about how large this side is about 65' wide by 8' high. The larger leaves are about 2' long. The double sided Orleans sign in the center of the filigree was hand made with a brass sheet background.

Roppongi, La Jolla
Picture
Roppongi in La Jolla. These torches were originally made for another restaurant in Rancho Santa Fe. They're about 6" tall and have stainless steel baskets that hold the lava stone. I have to admit they look much better here.
